This story begins, more than 2 years ago when Hailey went to Norwich University for the first time to visit the campus. Across a packed gym full of aspiring Norwich students, is when she was first introduced to me, Casey, her future husband. I (a sophomore at the time) was being a nerd and manning the performing arts booth for incoming students. When her father came up to the booth and told us all about her accalades, I was convinced that a girl like her would never end up on the Norwich campus. But to my surprise a year later, she was a recruit (freshman) for Delta Company. Where once again she came up to my nerdy performing arts table, this time asking to join.

This lead to an almost TV level of back and forth flirting, will they/won't they. Over those 4 months, we started to fall more and more in love with each other. We shared cute moments with each other, like holding hands in the theaters tech booth, sitting a little too close while watching movies with friends, and sharing special moments, all while she was still a recruit.

Then on December 6th 2023, it all surmounted with becoming an official couple. From there we quickly, met each other's lovely families, spent the holidays together, and were each other first year kiss. We moved in together after that spring semester had ended, and got engaged on July 7th 2024.

We are so exited to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
